So I was pretty pumped for the super bowl this year as the Seattle Seahawks made it again wahoo! I just wanted to indulge in some delicious munchies that had nothing to do with every day healthy eating. I was really excited to find this 30 minute pretzel recipe on Pinterest from another blog, Sally’s Baking Addiction. I am not the best baker at all. In fact, things don’t usually end up the way they are supposed to probably due to the fact that I’m more of a wing it and see what happens type. You can do that in cooking but not in baking lol. Anyways, I thought homemade pretzels would be the perfect food to bring to the game. Seriously, even if you have no clue how to bake, it is possible for these to turn out. Yay they were amazing! I also made a cheese dipping sauce and honey mustard sauce that was awesome. Here’s some nice shots of how the pretzels turned out. I am quite proud of myself. But since I’m slow at baking, the pretzels were more like 1 – 1 1/2 hour pretzels than 30 minutes but, hey, they were worth it! Here’s the link to the recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction
Oh yeah! I like mine a little toasty on the outside but still soft on the inside. I actually ended up making these 3 times in the past week that’s how good they are! Not the best nutrition wise, but sometimes who cares? haha
