So to be honest, I never ever thought in a million years that I would have my own blog.  Me and writing do not mix.  I am the master at summing up any long book into a paragraph or less.  I do not go on and on in detail as I figured why do that when I can do it in 3 sentences tops and call it good?  But, I have grown very fond of Pinterest and all my fellow food bloggers and at the prodding of my husband, here it is!


I, like many of you, just love eating and trying new food as a past time.  It’s basically my hobby.  I used to be a personal trainer and all I did was workout 24/7.  Was very fit but couldn’t cook a damn thing, so it was usually subway(yuck!) and protein bars(double yuck!) and the occasional egg sandwich(yumm!)  Now, I am no longer a personal trainer and am married to an amazing man that I now cook regular meals for and damn good ones!  I have a passion for nutrition and anything tasty.  It’s all in moderation folks.  You can have your salad…and your donuts too.  Just don’t abuse your donut privileges!  Just about everything I make is plant-based.  But, I am a huge fan of cheese, and beer! Oh, delicious wonderful beer.  Again, moderation. :) Food is the one thing I can go on and on all day about!  I will be attempting to recreate recipes I have found off of Pinterest and a few of my own. I hope you enjoy my tasty meals. And a few random things in between!

  1. I really appreciate your honesty about how we can enjoy really good food, but in moderation. There’s so many different foods to explore and enjoy if we are mindful that we don’t have to over indulge in order to really enjoy what’s out there. I really like your blog and hope you keep writing and offering up new recipes or maybe even recommend good places to dine out or have a good brew.

    1. You know, I keep meaning to review restaurants, but I forgot to take a pic before I scarf down the food haha. Will work on that 🙂
